We are so happy that you have traveled this far to share this special day with us. Below is some relevant information for planning your visit to Seattle. For any hotels where we have room blocks, if you call and learn the room blocks are sold out, please let me know and I can extend the block!
Pike Street Suites ($169 - $189 for a 1 bedroom suite, depending on when you book)
Please call 206-682-8282 and ask for the “Sousa/Tang Wedding” rate. Rate is good until June 7th. If in-house reservations is closed, you can also call the Sales Office and ask for Cynthia at 206-613-2082.
These are 1 bedroom suites that include a full kitchen (fridge, stovetop burner, etc.) as well as a pull-out sofabed in the living room. They will be undergoing a major renovation in Spring 2007 and include complimentary shuttle service within the downtown Seattle area. These suites are located next to the convention center and a few blocks from the major shopping area. The Pike Place Market is just down the street within a mile as well.
Grand Hyatt Seattle ($185 Single/Double; $285 Suite)

**UPDATE** This hotel is completely sold out for the weekend of July 7th.
Please call 1-800-233-1234 and ask for the “Sousa/Tang Wedding” rate. Rate is good until June 7th.
The Grand Hyatt is right in the heart of downtown with quick access to shops and restaurants. Amenities include a whirlpool, fitness center, high speed internet, views of the Puget Sound and a 24 hour concierge. This rate is quite a deal as the rack rate is typically $349 to give you a sense of the quality of this hotel–it’s fancy, luxurious and an easy walk to the Monorail, Pike Place Market, theatres, etc.
Westin Seattle
We don’t have a wedding block here; however, if you call 1-866-912-1062, they will provide a special discounted rate for weddings.
The Westin is also located downtown with a short walk to major shopping, the Pike Place Market and the Monorail.
We also recommend the following downtown Seattle hotels. While the wedding itself is not in Seattle, we recommend staying in downtown Seattle due to its close proximity to the airport (cabfare is about $30) and the fact that we will be providing shuttle service. Staying in downtown Seattle will allow you to experience most of the interesting parts of Seattle by foot or a short cab ride away. If you would prefer to stay closer to the wedding site, we would recommend looking for hotels in Newcastle, Factoria or Bellevue.
