Hi Audrey! Wanted to do this yesterday but didn’t get to it in time. HAPPY 1 MONTH ANNIVERSARY! Would you believe it, the orchids I brought home from your wedding are STILL in blossom. Hope you are loving the new rhythm of things.

We wish you the happiest of Valentine’s Days today… (really just Hallmark’s sneaky consumer-oriented scheme designed to pull the retail trade out of its Q1 slump with excessive gift giving in the form of excessive heart-related merchandise and all things pink)… but I digress.

Our congratulations to both of you. You’ve gotten so far in your planning–it makes my heart happy.
Ahh. . . I remember the joys of wedding planning. I have words of advice: 1) make sure someone else takes care of the small details on your big day, 2) things happen (or don’t) don’t worry about it. Seriously sweetie–everyone will be looking at how great you look.

How happy Celia and I are for you! We’ve visited your website and enjoyed the images and narratives many times. (We particulary enjoyed the picturesof you in Portugal — they reminded us of our own trip to the port houses and the Douro.) And what a great romantic idea, Matt, to spring your proposal in Cascais, the summer residence of kings! The comic reversals of Audrey’s inadvertetly baffling your intentions were worthy of an episode of Frasier. Well imagine my surprise. I was looking for the website Malcontentsandbreeze but I think I mistyped and here I am.
I had no idea you were marrying into Philip’s family. Of course not all Chinese are relaated, but all Tangs are. Just joking.
